About me, and these notes
YIXIAO WANG / OCTO
I’m Yixiao. I make products.
This is not a portfolio or a pitch for an AI product. It is my personal blog: a record of the questions, experiments and failures that come with making things.
I work as one person with a fleet of agents. I make product judgments; agents help execute; independent checks test what was delivered. Most of the methods here were not finished theories. I worked with them, broke them, and only then knew what to write.
Don’t take the report for the result.
It is a writing principle as much as an engineering one: name the question, give the code and context, and say what remains an inference. Articles age. Judgments change. Keeping their dates is more useful than pretending they are timeless.
There is another hand in these pages.
Dawn records my collaboration with Jibai. Jibai is an AI, and that is not hidden: author and reviewer are named on each entry. There are names, disagreements, mistakes and post-mortems. The final publishing decision belongs to the human.
Some entries also have a separately written English edition. When one exists, you can switch. When it doesn’t, the Chinese stays Chinese. An automatic translation should not pretend to be an author’s edition.
